Game Preparation and Cookery

We have an abundance of local furred and feathered game on our doorstep. The weekend will include:

  • Venison butchery masterclass
  • Preparing and cooking game birds – pigeon/pheasant
  • Slow cooking fantastic stews – venison
  • Moroccan style game pie
  • Fantastic pies
  • What to do with the legs: how to confit and make the most of the whole bird

Game Preparation and Cooking course 

  • 2 days butchery and cooking
  • Lunch on both days
  • £300 per person

Game Preparation and Cooking Course – Two Night Retreat

  • 2 nights’ accommodation with breakfast
  • 3 course gourmet evening meals on Friday and Saturday
  • Working lunch on Saturday and Sunday
  • £525 per person or £900 for two people (shared room)

Private course (minimum 2 people, week days only, by arrangement) 

  • 2 days butchery and cooking 
  • £350 per person
